Whenever practical, I don't just buy the ingredients. I make them.
I press seeds to produce some of my own oils. I distill botanicals and essential oils. I create herbal infusions and extracts. I grind whole botanicals and make specialty ingredients such as colloidal oats and soy butter — all before some of them ever make their way into a finished Food Soap? formulation.
